The city of Písek was the first city in the Czech Republic to test the TREEIB® 1500 irrigation bags and we are extremely satisfied.

Thanks to the 15 cm diameter filling opening, the bag can be filled with a large diameter hose, making filling 1500 litres of water a matter of 5 minutes.

 

We purchased the bag without the GPS module and so far we have not seen any attempted vandalism or theft. Once the water is released, we always move it to storage or relocate it to the next tree.

 

 

The bags were purchased for us by a construction company who damaged a mature oak tree during their construction activities, which we are now using the bag to save. This also benefits other trees that we can effectively water.

 

Today we look back on this decision as a very prudent one. We have gained a tool for saving other mature trees and for promoting their vitality. To save water, we fill the bag with water from the river.

 

With the TREEIB® 1500 bag, we also received detailed instructions on how often and especially where to water the large trees for the best watering effect.
