TREEIB® contains all of our experiences, from helping hundreds of our clients (cities, companies and individuals) understand and use irrigation bags for newly planted trees.
One of the main concerns is safety. We have designed TREEIB® to be safe for investors and trees alike.
To secure the bag against vandals and thieves, it is equipped with several security elements. They protect both the tree from damage, and the investor from theft, and help find and identify specific bags.
MATERIAL
TREEIB® is made of highly durable UV stabilized German PVC material, used by state civil protection units and armies from all over the world.

The material is so resistant, that making the water releasing openings is a really complex production operation in itself.
​
The material itself, makes the bag difficult to destroy.
UNIQUE SERIAL NUMBER
You will find the serial number on the bag next to the logo. We recommend keeping the number in your records, in case the bag is stolen, or lost, to prove that the bag is yours.

In case of TREEIB® rental operations you can check the bag is the one you rented.
FILLING CYLINDER LOCK
Roll down the filling cylinder material, bend the material in an arc and secure the filling cylinder with the clip.
Fallen leaves and dirt cannot get into the bag.

You can lock the filling cylinder with a padlock or similar lockable element.
​
This lock serves to prevent unauthorized people from contaminating the contents of the bag, e.g. with a chemical.
PADLOCK WITH SHOCK SENSOR
The lock, which contains a shock sensor, provides a higher level of protection. Not only does it prevent the the filling cylinder from being opened randomly, but it also responds to movement (shocks), in the event of unauthorized manipulation of the bag (attempted theft), and triggers a sound of 110 dB. The classic lock without an alarm, is also available.

On the horseshoe lock, there is a groove on the inside, the position of which indicates whether the lock is in alarm mode (keyway) or without the alarm (groove on the opposite side).

Nowadays, the padlock is included in every standard package unit as a free gift.
GPS GUARDING
In collaboration with a Czech manufacturer, we tested out a reliable and affordable GPS module that can be inserted into the bag and allows the bag to be monitored continuously. Its location, battery charge level, and other details, can be constantly monitored on a computer monitor via the Internet interface, a mobile application available in many languages.

The GPS module is waterproof and charges wirelessly. It works worldwide with some exceptions.

METAL EYELETS
TREEIB® City is designed as a flexible solution for places where it is not possible to place a classic TREEIB® 1500, thus the anchoring eyelets are welded at the edges. They can be used to thread plastic, aramid or steel rope, which can be locked around the tree trunk. It is also possible to use a clothesline with a steel core.

Take care to tie down securely, as there is potential, under high winds, that the bag can be blown away. The TREEIB® irrigation bag is flat and relatively heavy, so it is very stable under most wind conditions, but the risk is there, therefore we recommend securing the bags to prevent accidents.
